Welcome to the Delaware State Visitors Center and Galleries-your entry way to the fascinating world of Delaware history! The Visitor Center's galleries help bring history to life through changing exhibits on various aspects of Delaware history and culture. In addition, knowledgeable and courteous staff members assist Delawareans and visitors alike by providing information on local and statewide attractions, events, and activities. Maps and printed materials are available as well as a History Store featuring a wide range of distinctive gifts and Delaware souvenirs.

Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, 1:30-4:30 p.m. Open most holidays; please call to confirm. Hours subject to change. Admission Free and open to the public. Donations are accepted. Parking Free, but limited, parking is available in the Visitor Center parking lot. Free street parking is also available. Disabled Access The Vistors Center is fully accessible to people with disabilities. Touring the Galleries Tours of exhibits in the Visitors Center galleries are available throughout the day. However, tours for large groups require prior reservations. For more information on group tours, go to our Visitor Center Activities page. Shopping Take home a piece of Delaware! The Delaware State Visitors Center and Galleries History Store is full of Delaware souvenirs, books, educational items, and gifts to complement your visit. We also offer packaged "grab bags" for school tours. The History Store accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and personal checks for your convenience. Purchases help fund our educational programs and exhibits.
